Killer whales

I like the idea that there are traces of both everyday life and care in each work of art, each print has its own story.

The paper used is recycled coffee filters, washed, acid-neutralized, dried, pressed and cut by hand. Each used coffee filter is a memory of cozy moments with your morning coffee, a nice start to a new day.

The lino print of an orca – majestic, strong and quiet at the same time. I have tried to capture the powerful calm of the ocean depths where it belongs. The handmade lino print on recycled coffee filters gives each print its own living surface – as unique as the sea itself.
